Text reminders.

Chime Ahead’s optional SMS program is for the tasks and appointments you create and schedule for yourself. Text delivery is currently in private testing and is not yet available to all users.

How to choose text reminders

  1. Sign in to your Chime Ahead account and open Settings → Notifications.
  2. Under Text reminder consent, enter your own US or Canada mobile number.
  3. Read the disclosure and, if you want texts, check the initially unchecked SMS consent box and select Save text consent.

SMS consent is optional. You can use Chime Ahead without entering a mobile number or choosing text reminders. Email and call choices are separate. Saving your choice does not make text delivery available before the service opens to you.

The SMS checkbox starts unchecked. The following disclosure appears beside it in account settings, along with links to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions:

Your consent choice, phone number, consent wording version, and the time of your choice are saved to your account. Visiting this page or contacting support does not opt you in.
