GOOD TO KNOW

About your data.

Here’s how the current Chime Ahead experiences handle reminders. Last updated October 2026.

The interactive examples on this website

The reminder and timing demos use fictional examples kept in memory. They do not sign you in, read your app reminders, save what you type to a server, or send alerts. Refreshing the page resets them. The marketing page has no analytics scripts or tracking cookies.

Exploring the app on this device

Guest reminders are saved in the app’s local browser or device storage. They stay separate from account reminders and from this website’s demo. Browser origins have separate storage, so changing browsers or addresses does not automatically move guest data. Export a copy from Settings before clearing storage or changing devices.

Signing in and syncing

Account access is currently being tested. When you sign in, your account workspace can synchronize reminders—including notes and checklists—lists, profile and delivery preferences through Supabase. Local changes are saved first and wait for a connection when offline. Conflicting edits may need your review. Native notification permission stays on each device; it is not a shared account setting.

Optional delivery services

Email, text and call reminders are limited to eligible private test accounts. Opted-in delivery sends the reminder title and schedule to the relevant service: Resend for email and Twilio for phone delivery. Your notes and checklists are not part of those delivery messages. Turning an optional channel off cancels unsent queued jobs once the change reaches the service. Signing out alone does not cancel already queued account deliveries.

Keeping your own copy

Use Export my tasks in the app’s Settings. Restore can add missing reminders and lists from a compatible backup; imported delivery choices start off. Software releases and source-code backups do not back up your reminder data.
